And then we decorated the tree. Nora got to put the angel on top of the tree again this year. I am a bit worried about next year, when Ella will be aware of this tradition. Hmmm, maybe Chad could hold both girls and let them put the angel on top of the tree??

We also went to visit Santa at our FRG children's holiday party. Ella, as you can see, did not really like this experience. Nora, on the other hand, went and sat on Santa's lap about five times to tell Santa all of the things that she NEEDED (not wanted). She added a gift to her list, a scooter. Hopefully, Santa heard this request in time!
I then attempted to take the traditional the kids are all clean and dressed up in their holiday best Christmas photo:
We then made a Gingerbread house...it was mostly a sugar mess with kids bouncing off the walls about one hour later from the sugar high experience!
Nora and Bennett received the world's largest Kinder Eggs on Christmas Eve morning. The chocolate has been consumed, thank goodness!
Santa was very generous this year! Ella got a shopping cart, Nora got her scooter, Bennett got a Swiss Army knife, and Chad and I got each other perfume and cologne!

Ella is about as big as her stocking...WOW!

Ella is about as big as her stocking...WOW!We had about 20 people over for Christmas Day dinner. I made roasted root vegatables and prime rib. The prime rib was so large that Chad had to cut it in half and we cooked half in our oven and half at a friend's house! We really like to have our military friend's over during the holiday season, as we consider them family. Have a blessed New Year.
